MBBS Degree Apostille & Attestation
MBBS degree attestation is the chain of official stamps that makes an Indian MBBS or postgraduate medical degree acceptable abroad: authentication by the state where the awarding university is located, then the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). For Apostille Convention countries, MEA adds an MBBS apostille; for the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait and other non-Convention countries, MEA attests and the destination embassy legalises the degree.

Overview of MBBS Degree Apostille & Attestation in India
Reliable Attestation is a private facilitation service in New Delhi. Medical files differ from other degree files because doctors face two separate checks abroad: the government legalisation chain, and the health regulator's own verification of your degree, registration and experience – often called primary source verification. We plan the first and help you understand where the second fits. We are not a medical college, university, medical council, state department, MEA, embassy or verification company, we do not give licensing or legal advice, and we have one office, in New Delhi. An Indian MBBS degree is signed by the registrar or controller of examinations of the awarding university – often a state health sciences university, sometimes a central or deemed university. Authorities abroad cannot verify that signature. The legalisation chain solves this: the state education department authenticates the university's signature, and MEA then certifies the state officer's signature. For a non-Convention country, the destination embassy legalises MEA's stamp, and in the Gulf the foreign ministry adds the final step.

Like any legalisation, it confirms signatures and seals, not your clinical competence, your registration status or your eligibility to practise. Those questions are answered by health regulators abroad, usually through their own verification and examinations.

Every legalised medical degree carries a sequence of stamps, and each has a specific meaning. Knowing them helps you check the file when it returns and explain it to a hospital's credentialing team abroad.
Some states first want the awarding university to confirm the degree. The university checks its records and either stamps the original or sends confirmation to the state authority. This is a different exercise from the verification a PSV provider requests, although the same university office may handle both.
The department of the state where the university is located authenticates the registrar's signature. MEA publishes a list of state authorities; we confirm which one applies to medical degrees from your university, because practice differs between states. Where the university is connected to e-Sanad, online verification can replace the paper step.
MEA does not accept documents directly from the public. Applications go through its outsourced collection agencies or, for certain cities, through its Branch Secretariats and Regional Passport Offices. MEA places an apostille for a Convention country or an attestation stamp for a non-Convention country. It states that it does not take responsibility for the contents of a document; it certifies the preceding signature.
For non-Convention countries, the destination embassy in New Delhi legalises the degree after MEA. The UAE combines its embassy and foreign-ministry steps in one online application; Kuwait completes the final step inside Kuwait.
We do not publish charges, because the total depends on the file. It includes any university verification, the state step, MEA, the embassy and foreign-ministry stages or the apostille, translation if needed, and courier or pickup and return. Charges of universities, medical councils, verification companies and foreign regulators are separate. Our team shares the exact total after reviewing your documents.

What Is MBBS Degree Attestation?
MBBS Apostille or Attestation: Which Does Your Destination Need?
| Destination | Legalisation of the degree | Health regulator's verification |
|---|---|---|
| Saudi Arabia | MBBS apostille | Saudi Commission for Health Specialties registration and verification – confirm current steps |
| Oman, Bahrain | MBBS apostille | National regulator's licensing and verification – confirm |
| UAE | MBBS degree attestation, then UAE online Embassy + MOFA | Health authority licensing with primary source verification |
| Qatar | Attestation through Qatar's mission | DHP primary source verification is mandatory (DataFlow, Quadrabay or AVS) |
| Kuwait | Attestation through the Kuwait Embassy | Ministry of Health licensing – confirm |
| United Kingdom | Usually not requested by the GMC | GMC verifies your qualification through ECFMG's EPIC |
| USA | Usually not requested for ECFMG certification | ECFMG verifies with your medical school |
| Germany | Verification at a German authority's request | Germany objected to India's accession |
The legalisation and the licensing verification are separate. A fully attested MBBS does not complete a Gulf licence, and a successful primary source verification does not replace the attestation that immigration needs. Most Gulf doctor files need both.
Legalisation vs Primary Source Verification: Two Different Checks
Doctors are often surprised to learn that their degree is checked twice.
Legalisation – apostille or attestation – is a government-to-government chain. It runs through the state education department, MEA and, where needed, the embassy. It makes the paper document acceptable to immigration, labour and other authorities abroad.
Primary source verification (PSV) is a check by or for the health regulator. An approved verification company contacts your university, medical council and past employers directly and confirms that each credential is genuine. Qatar's Department of Healthcare Professions states that PSV is one of the mandatory requirements for registration and licensing to practise in Qatar, and that the verification report must be attached to the online evaluation application. It lists DataFlow, Quadrabay and Approved Verification Services as approved providers. Health regulators in the UAE work with verification providers in a similar way.
What this means in practice:
- Start both early. PSV depends on your university and council answering a verification company; legalisation depends on the state department and MEA.
- Keep names identical. Both checks fail on name mismatches between the degree, registration certificate and passport.
- Expect PSV to cover more than the degree – registration, internship and experience may all be verified.
- We handle legalisation. PSV is applied for through the regulator's chosen provider, usually by you.
The Doctor Medical Degree Apostille Process for the UK and USA
The doctor medical degree apostille process is often assumed to be the first step for the UK or USA. It usually is not.
United Kingdom
The General Medical Council requires international medical graduates to have their primary medical qualification independently verified before registration. The GMC says this is done by ECFMG, a division of Intealth, through its online Electronic Portfolio of International Credentials (EPIC), and that ECFMG checks directly with your awarding institution that the qualification is genuine. The GMC's page does not ask for an apostille.
United States
ECFMG certification for international medical graduates also involves ECFMG verifying your medical credentials directly with your medical school. For that purpose an apostille is not normally the route.
An apostille may still be useful – for example for a visa, a university appointment, a research post or an employer that asks for legalised documents. For a Convention country, the route is the state step and MEA. We check what each body actually asks for before your original moves.
MBBS Degree Attestation for Abroad Practice in the Gulf
Most Indian doctors who legalise their degrees are going to the Gulf. MBBS degree attestation for abroad practice there combines three streams: legalisation of the degree, the health regulator's licensing (including any examination and PSV), and the employer's own credentialing.
UAE
After MEA attestation, one online application on the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, made with UAE PASS, covers the UAE Embassy in New Delhi and UAE MOFA. An approved provider collects the original, and the attested degree is emailed with a reference number. Licensing is handled by the relevant UAE health authority for the emirate where you will work, with its own verification and requirements.
Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia accepts the MEA apostille, so a medical degree certificate apostille is the final Indian step. Professional registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties is a separate process with its own verification and examination requirements; confirm the current steps with your employer.
Qatar
Qatar requires qualifications issued outside Qatar to be attested by its mission in the issuing country, so the MBBS goes through the state step, MEA attestation and the Qatar Embassy. PSV through an approved provider is mandatory for licensing.
Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain
Kuwait needs attestation through its embassy, with the final ministry step usually completed in Kuwait. Oman and Bahrain accept the apostille. Each country's health ministry or regulator has its own licensing process.
Which Documents Make Up a Doctor's File?
| Document | Issued by | Legalisation notes |
|---|---|---|
| MBBS degree | University | The core document; state step for the university's state, then MEA |
| Mark sheets / transcripts | University | Some regulators and employers ask for them |
| Internship completion certificate | Medical college or university | Often requested; route depends on issuer – confirmed per file |
| Registration certificate | State Medical Council or NMC | Often requested; route confirmed per file |
| Good standing certificate | State Medical Council or NMC | Usually issued recent and sometimes sent directly to the regulator |
| MD / MS / DM / MCh | University | Its own university's route |
| DNB / DrNB | National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences | Route confirmed per file |
| Experience certificates | Hospitals | Private documents; usually verified through PSV |
Not every document needs legalisation. Many regulators verify registration, good standing and experience through PSV, and only the degrees go through the MEA chain. We ask for the employer's and regulator's written lists before planning.
Postgraduate Medical Qualifications: MD, MS, DNB and Diplomas
Specialists usually carry more than one qualification. Each follows the route of its own issuing body:
- MD and MS are university degrees and follow the state step for the awarding university, then MEA.
- DM and MCh super-specialty degrees follow the same university route.
- DNB and DrNB are awarded by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, a national body; how its certificates are authenticated before MEA is confirmed per file.
- Postgraduate diplomas (such as DCH or DGO, where still held) follow the awarding university.
- Fellowships and short courses are often accepted as copies; we ask before legalising them.
If your MBBS and postgraduate degrees are from universities in different states, each goes to its own state. We plan them together so they reach MEA in one batch where possible.
Health Sciences Universities and the State Step
Many states award medical degrees through a dedicated health sciences university rather than a general university. The state step still happens in the state where that university is located. Some state departments that handle higher education also handle medical degrees; in some states another department is involved, and some universities are connected to MEA's e-Sanad system, which can replace the paper state step. We confirm the current route for your university before submission rather than relying on a general rule.
For Kerala-issued certificates, Norka Roots handles certificate authentication; its guidance notes that medical and nursing professionals need their registration certificate as well. We confirm the current Norka requirements before a Kerala file starts.
Good Standing Certificates for Doctors
Most foreign regulators ask for a certificate of good standing or similar letter from the medical council where you are registered, confirming that there are no disciplinary proceedings against you. Points to plan for:
- Who issues it. Your State Medical Council issues it for state registration; the NMC handles requests relating to its own register. Ask which one your regulator wants.
- How recent it must be. Regulators often want a recent letter – plan it near the end of your file.
- How it travels. Some regulators want it sent directly by the council; legalisation does not replace that.
- Name and registration number. These must match your degree and passport.
We help you understand whether the good standing certificate needs legalisation for your destination, or whether it is verified through PSV or direct sending instead.
When Is MBBS Degree Attestation the Right Choice?
MBBS degree attestation through the embassy is right when the destination is outside the Apostille Convention – the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait being the usual examples – and immigration or labour authorities want the Indian chain of stamps followed by their own embassy.
It is not the right choice in four common situations:
- The destination is a Convention party. Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, the UK and the USA use the MBBS apostille instead, when legalisation is asked for.
- The regulator verifies directly. The GMC and ECFMG verify with your institution through EPIC; legalising the degree does not satisfy that.
- The destination objected to India's accession or India objected to theirs. Germany needs verification at a German authority's request; China needs MEA attestation and Chinese legalisation.
- The document is verified only through PSV. Experience letters and good standing are often checked directly and do not need legalisation.
Before you request MBBS degree attestation, ask the employer and the regulator in writing which form they want.
Who This Page Is For
- MBBS graduates with an offer from a hospital or clinic abroad.
- Specialists with MD, MS, DNB or super-specialty degrees moving into consultant roles.
- Doctors applying for registration in the UK, the USA, Australia or elsewhere who need to know whether an apostille is part of their route.
- Doctors joining universities or research institutions abroad.
- Families of doctors who need qualifications legalised for a dependant visa.
- Indian citizens who studied medicine abroad and now need documents legalised for another country.
If your file is a general degree, our main degree page is the better start. Nursing, dental, pharmacy and allied health qualifications raise their own questions – different councils, different regulators abroad and sometimes different state routes – and are planned per file. This page focuses on what only doctors face: health sciences universities, internship and registration certificates, good standing letters, and regulators that verify your degree themselves.
Working With Your University and Medical Council
The university and the council are often the slowest stages of a medical file, and both are also contacted by verification companies. A few habits help:
- Check that your name matches across the degree, mark sheets, internship certificate, registration certificate and passport.
- Keep your registration number, university enrolment number and year of passing ready.
- Ask the university how it handles verification requests from MEA's state step and from PSV providers.
- Ask the council how long good standing certificates take and whether they send them directly.
- Keep copies of every application and acknowledgement.
Requests to the university for transcripts or to the council for good standing are made by you, because both usually require the doctor's own application.
Doctors Who Studied Medicine Abroad
Indian citizens who completed their medical degree outside India hold a foreign qualification. Its legalisation follows the route of the country that issued it – for example that country's apostille or its own ministries and embassy chain – not India's MEA route. If you are now moving from India to a third country, we can explain how your Indian documents (such as an Indian registration certificate) fit into the file, and point out which foreign documents must be legalised in the issuing country.
Understanding Each Stamp on a Medical Degree
Every legalised medical degree carries a sequence of stamps, and each has a specific meaning. Knowing them helps you check the file when it returns and explain it to a hospital's credentialing team abroad.
The university's verification
Some states first want the awarding university to confirm the degree. The university checks its records and either stamps the original or sends confirmation to the state authority. This is a different exercise from the verification a PSV provider requests, although the same university office may handle both.
The state step
The department of the state where the university is located authenticates the registrar's signature. MEA publishes a list of state authorities; we confirm which one applies to medical degrees from your university, because practice differs between states. Where the university is connected to e-Sanad, online verification can replace the paper step.
The Ministry of External Affairs
MEA does not accept documents directly from the public. Applications go through its outsourced collection agencies or, for certain cities, through its Branch Secretariats and Regional Passport Offices. MEA places an apostille for a Convention country or an attestation stamp for a non-Convention country. It states that it does not take responsibility for the contents of a document; it certifies the preceding signature.
The embassy and the foreign ministry
For non-Convention countries, the destination embassy in New Delhi legalises the degree after MEA. The UAE combines its embassy and foreign-ministry steps in one online application; Kuwait completes the final step inside Kuwait.
Internship and Registration Certificates: Practical Tips
Gulf regulators and employers commonly ask for evidence that you completed the compulsory rotating internship and that you are registered in India. A few practical points:
- Internship certificates are usually issued by the medical college or the university. Some carry the dean's signature only; the state step may need the university's confirmation. We check before the original is sent.
- Registration certificates are issued by the State Medical Council or relate to the NMC's register. Whether they need legalisation, and by which route, depends on the destination; many regulators verify them through PSV instead.
- Keep the original registration safe. Councils can take time to issue duplicates.
- Match the dates. The internship completion date and the registration date should make sense together; credentialing teams notice gaps.
Medical Degree Certificate Apostille for Research, Teaching and Further Training
Not every doctor going abroad is joining a hospital. Some take research fellowships, PhD places, teaching posts at medical schools or observerships. A medical degree certificate apostille is often requested in these cases by a university's human resources office or by the visa authority rather than by a medical regulator. Points to check:
- Is the post clinical? Clinical work almost always needs the regulator's own registration and verification, even for a short fellowship.
- What does the university want? Some want an apostilled degree; others want transcripts sent directly by your medical school.
- What does the visa need? Research and academic visas sometimes list legalised qualifications separately.
We apostille the qualification the receiving body actually asks for and leave the rest.
A Planning Sequence for MBBS Degree Attestation for Abroad Practice
For doctors heading to the Gulf, a sensible order of work is:
- 1Collect the employer's and regulator's written document lists.
- 2Check that names match across all documents; fix any errors first.
- 3Start PSV through the regulator's approved provider as soon as it opens.
- 4Start legalisation of the MBBS and postgraduate degrees at the same time.
- 5Arrange any examination the regulator requires.
- 6Request the good standing certificate near the end, so it is recent.
- 7Hand the attested degrees and PSV report to the employer for the visa and licence.
Running PSV and legalisation in parallel is usually the biggest time saver, because both depend partly on your university.
Doctors' Files Alongside Family Documents
Many doctors move with a spouse and children. A family file may include a marriage certificate for the spouse's visa and birth certificates for children, which follow personal-document routes before MEA. We plan them with your degrees so they reach MEA in one batch where possible, and we tell you which document is likely to take longest.
How the MBBS Degree Attestation Process Works With Us
- 1File check. Send scans of your degrees, registration certificate, passport and offer letter, and tell us the destination.
- 2Requirement check. We separate what needs legalisation from what is verified through PSV, EPIC or direct sending.
- 3Document review. We check names, titles and the condition of each original.
- 4University verification, if needed. Some states ask the university to confirm first.
- 5State step. Paper authentication or e-Sanad, in the state of each awarding university.
- 6MEA. Apostille or attestation through MEA's authorised collection channel.
- 7Embassy and foreign ministry. For the UAE, the online process; for Qatar and Kuwait, their embassies.
- 8Return. Your originals come back with a note of every stamp.
How Long Does MBBS Degree Attestation Take?
| Stage | What decides the time | Indicative pattern |
|---|---|---|
| File and requirement check | How quickly you share details | Usually the quickest stage |
| University verification | The university's verification desk | Can be the longest stage |
| State step | State workload | Varies |
| MEA | Collection channel and processing | Generally predictable |
| Embassy / foreign ministry | Country and season | Varies |
| PSV and licensing | Verification company, university, council | Outside the legalisation chain |
Indicative only – we do not promise fixed days. We share an estimated timeline after reviewing your documents.
What Is the Total Made Of?
We do not publish charges, because the total depends on the file. It includes any university verification, the state step, MEA, the embassy and foreign-ministry stages or the apostille, translation if needed, and courier or pickup and return. Charges of universities, medical councils, verification companies and foreign regulators are separate. Our team shares the exact total after reviewing your documents.
Three Typical Situations
These are illustrative examples based on common requests; names are changed and details simplified.
A general practitioner joining a clinic in Abu Dhabi
Dr Farhan has an MBBS from a state health sciences university and a registration certificate from his State Medical Council. His degree goes through the state step, MEA attestation and the UAE online Embassy and MOFA application, while he applies for licensing and PSV through the health authority's process.
A paediatric specialist moving to Riyadh
Dr Kavya holds an MBBS and an MD from universities in two different states. Each degree goes to its own state step, then MEA adds the apostille. Her Saudi registration is a separate process she completes with her employer.
A doctor applying to the GMC
Dr Rahul plans to register in the UK. His qualification is verified through EPIC, so he does not need an apostille for the GMC. His employer's visa sponsor, however, asks for legalised copies, so we apostille his MBBS for that purpose only.
Common Mistakes With Medical Files
- Treating the medical council as a legalisation stage. It registers you; it is not part of the MEA chain.
- Assuming attestation completes licensing. PSV and the regulator's own process are separate.
- Apostilling for the GMC or ECFMG. They verify through EPIC.
- Getting an apostille for the UAE, Qatar or Kuwait. They need attestation.
- Attesting for Saudi Arabia through the embassy. It accepts the apostille.
- Sending the MD to the MBBS university's state. Each degree follows its own university.
- Ordering a good standing certificate too early. It may be out of date by the time it is used.
- Laminating degrees. The UAE does not attest laminated documents.
Special Cases
Name changes after marriage
A doctor whose name changed after marriage needs supporting documents to link the degree, registration and passport.
Degrees from renamed or merged universities
The route follows the university named on the degree; older records may take longer to verify.
Provisional degrees
Many regulators want the final degree; use a provisional degree only if the receiving body accepts it.
Duplicate degrees
A duplicate issued by the university can be legalised; keep the university's letter explaining it.
Documents needed for two countries
An apostille and attestation can both be placed on one original, applied for separately.
Foreign medical graduates
A degree from a foreign university follows that country's route.
Degrees awaiting convocation
Some universities issue the final degree only at convocation. If your joining date comes first, ask the employer whether a provisional degree is acceptable for the visa, and plan to legalise the final degree when it is issued.
Damaged or faded originals
A torn, laminated or faded degree may be refused at the state step or by MEA. Ask the university about a duplicate before starting.
What MBBS Degree Attestation Does Not Do
- It does not license you to practise abroad.
- It does not replace PSV, EPIC, examinations or good standing certificates.
- It does not certify your clinical skills or marks.
- It does not guarantee a visa or job.
We do not give licensing or legal advice. For questions about qualifying or practising abroad, please speak to the relevant health regulator or a qualified adviser in that country.
Questions to Ask Your Employer and Regulator
- Apostille or attestation – and which documents?
- Which documents are verified through PSV or EPIC instead?
- Do you need the good standing certificate sent directly, and how recent must it be?
- Do you need my postgraduate degrees as well?
- Is there a joining or licensing deadline?
Planning Around Licensing, Examinations and Joining Dates
Doctors' files often run on three clocks: the legalisation chain, the regulator's licensing (including examinations and PSV), and the employer's joining date. Work backwards: get the written lists first, start PSV and legalisation in parallel, order the good standing certificate near the end, and leave room for a slow university. We share realistic estimates at each stage, but we do not promise fixed days.
Translations for Medical Documents
Most Indian medical qualifications are in English. Where a document is partly in Hindi or a regional language, or where a Gulf authority asks for an Arabic translation, we confirm whether, when and by whom it must be translated, because a translation done at the wrong stage may have to be repeated.
Nursing, Dental and Allied Health Colleagues
Hospitals abroad often recruit doctors and nurses together, and families sometimes include more than one health professional. Nursing, dental, pharmacy and physiotherapy qualifications follow the route of their own issuing university or board, and their councils and foreign regulators differ from those for doctors. If your spouse or colleague is moving with you, send their documents with yours; we plan each one separately but can coordinate the timing so the family's files are ready together.
Confidentiality for Doctors
Doctors often prefer that a move abroad stays private until it is confirmed. We share your documents only with the official stages that need them, we do not contact your hospital or patients, and we do not publish your name or file details. Copies are kept only as long as needed for your file.
Safe Handling of Your Originals
We record each original when it reaches us, keep it in our office between stages, and return it by tracked courier or in person.
When Your Degree Comes Back: What to Check
- The state stamp or e-Sanad record.
- MEA's apostille or attestation.
- The embassy's legalisation and, for the UAE, the emailed attestation and its reference number.
- That your name and degree title are correct throughout.
Pre-Submission Checklist
- What needs legalisation vs PSV, EPIC or direct sending is clear.
- Apostille or attestation decided.
- Each degree's awarding state identified, or e-Sanad confirmed.
- Originals not laminated or damaged.
- Names match passports and registration.
- Employer's and regulator's written lists in hand.
MBBS Apostille for Clients Across India
We work from one office in Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, and serve clients across India by pickup or courier. We do not have offices in other cities. The state step happens in the state of the awarding university; MEA and most embassies are in New Delhi.

Frequently Asked Questions on MBBS Degree Apostille & Attestation
What is MBBS degree attestation?
The state step for your university, MEA attestation and the destination embassy, for non-Convention countries such as the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait.
What is an MBBS apostille?
MEA's apostille on an MBBS after the state step, for Convention countries.
Is a medical degree certificate apostille valid in Saudi Arabia?
Yes. Saudi Arabia has accepted the apostille since 7 December 2022.
Is the medical council part of the attestation chain?
No. It registers doctors and issues good standing certificates; legalisation runs through the state step and MEA.
Is attestation the same as primary source verification?
No. PSV is the regulator's own check through an approved provider; most Gulf files need both.
Does the GMC need an apostille on my MBBS?
The GMC verifies your qualification through ECFMG's EPIC, directly with your institution.
What is the doctor medical degree apostille process?
The state step for your university, then MEA's apostille. For the UK and USA, check first whether EPIC verification is all that is needed.
Is MBBS degree attestation for abroad practice in the UAE needed?
Usually yes. After MEA, the UAE online process covers the Embassy and MOFA; licensing is separate.
Can my MD and MBBS be done together?
Yes. Each goes through its own university's state step, and we plan them so they reach MEA together where possible.
Can my registration certificate be legalised?
Often yes. It is issued by a medical council, so its route differs from a university degree; we confirm it per file, and many regulators verify it through PSV instead.
Which state attests my MBBS?
The state where the awarding university is located – not the state where you are registered or work.
Can MEA apostille a photocopy?
No. MEA does not legalise photocopies, so the original degree is needed at every stage.
Is SDM or a notary needed?
No. Neither is part of the route for a medical degree; the state step and MEA are the official stages.
Do you give licensing advice?
No. We handle legalisation only. For licensing, examinations and registration, please speak to the regulator or a qualified adviser in that country.
How long does MBBS degree attestation take?
It depends on the university and destination. We share an estimated timeline after reviewing your documents.
What do your MBBS apostille services cost?
It depends on the documents and route. Our team shares the exact total after reviewing your documents.

MBBS Degree Attestation and MBBS Apostille for Doctors Going Abroad
Reliable Attestation helps doctors prepare their medical qualifications for practice, training and research abroad. MBBS degree attestation is the chain of official stamps that makes an Indian MBBS acceptable in countries outside the Apostille Convention, such as the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait: the state step for the awarding university, then the Ministry of External Affairs, then the destination embassy and, in the Gulf, its foreign ministry. For Convention countries such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, the UK and the USA, an MBBS apostille from MEA replaces the embassy step, and a medical degree certificate apostille is the final Indian stage.
Doctors face two separate checks abroad. Legalisation makes the paper degree acceptable to immigration and labour authorities. Primary source verification is the health regulator's own check, carried out by approved providers who contact your university, council and employers directly; Qatar's Department of Healthcare Professions describes it as mandatory for licensing and names DataFlow, Quadrabay and AVS. MBBS degree attestation for abroad practice in the Gulf usually needs both, so we help you run them in parallel.
The doctor medical degree apostille process is different again for the UK and USA. The General Medical Council verifies the primary qualification of international graduates through ECFMG's EPIC service, directly with the awarding institution, and ECFMG verifies credentials with medical schools for its own certification. An apostille is used there only when another body – an employer, a university or a visa authority – asks for it.
A doctor's file often includes more than the MBBS: mark sheets, the internship completion certificate, the registration certificate, a recent good standing certificate from the State Medical Council or the NMC, and postgraduate degrees such as MD, MS, DNB, DM or MCh. Each follows its own issuer's route, and many are verified through PSV instead of being legalised. When your MBBS and MD come from universities in different states, each goes to its own state step before reaching MEA, and we plan them so they arrive together. The medical council registers you; it is not a stage of the MEA chain. For Kerala-issued certificates, Norka Roots notes that medical professionals also need their registration certificate.
We are a private facilitation service, not a medical college, university, medical council, state department, MEA, embassy or verification company, and we do not give licensing or legal advice. We work from one office in New Delhi and serve clients across India by pickup or courier. MEA does not legalise photocopies, and the UAE does not attest laminated documents. We do not promise fixed days; we share an honest estimate after reviewing your documents. The total depends on the documents, the universities and the destination, and our team shares the exact total after reviewing your documents.
